Samsung Internet Browser Now Available for Windows

Microsoft has launched Samsung Internet on Windows PCs through the Microsoft Store, moving out of the mobile space. If you like using Samsung Internet on your Galaxy phone, now you can use it on your Windows computer too!

The Samsung Internet browser is known for being fast and lightweight. Many Samsung phone users love it. Now Microsoft is letting people download it from the Microsoft Store for free. This means you don’t need to search for it online or install anything tricky. Just go to the Microsoft Store on your PC and click “Get” to install it instantly.

For a while, the Windows version worked smoothly. But then Samsung stopped people from downloading it. They likely needed more time to fix some small problems.

The browser looks a lot like Google Chrome. It has an address bar at the top to type in websites. There are also tabs to open multiple pages and bookmarks to save your favorites. You can even get extra features by adding extensions, just like on Chrome.

Under the hood, Samsung Internet is built to feel fast like it does on phones. However, the desktop version didn’t feel as smooth as the mobile app at first. Samsung will likely make it run even better over time.

If you sign in with your Samsung account, the process between phone and computer isn’t perfect yet. But it gets the job done.

Overall, Samsung Internet is a great free option for Windows users looking for an alternative to Chrome. And if you already use it on Galaxy, you can now use the same browser on your laptop or desktop too. With some expected fixes over time, it could become many people’s new favorite way to browse on PC.
