Lowe’s Now Accepts Apple Pay For Easy Checkouts

The last remaining Apple Pay holdout has finally caved in. Apple Pay is now available at over 2,100 Lowe’s locations throughout the country, the nation’s second-largest hardware retailer. Shoppers can now use their iPhone or Apple Watch to pay quickly and securely at Lowe’s.

Lowe’s started accepting Apple Pay last week according to several customers. People can tap their iPhone or Apple Watch at checkout to pay with Apple Pay. No more swiping cards or entering numbers. Lowe’s also accepts contactless credit and debit card payments by tapping them at checkout.

Lowe’s is a big hardware store chain in the US, just smaller than Home Depot. However, Home Depot does not take Apple Pay yet. Walmart is the biggest retailer left that still does not support Apple Pay even though other stores like Kroger added it in April. Some others like Home Depot and H-E-B also do not offer Apple Pay purchases.
