Fitbit’s Help Center Gets a New Home with Google

As expected, Fitbit is getting more connected to its parent company, Google. On Wednesday, Google said some top leaders would change roles. This means Fitbit will work more closely with Google. One way we can already see this is that Fitbit’s Help Center has a new home.

Fitbit’s articles for getting help are now found at support.google.com/fitbit. Before this, they were at help.fitbit.com. But the information stays the same. Google’s dark mode theme looks better too.

When you go to myhelp.fitbit.com, it takes you to the new Fitbit Help Center on Google’s site. Google uses this site for products like Gmail, Pixel phones, and more. Some of the main Fitbit pages are still there. But the articles inside send you to Google.

You can find help with:

  • Setting up Fitbit
  • Notifications
  • Fitness and exercise
  • Sleeping
  • Settings
  • Music
  • Payments
  • Accounts
  • Updates
  • Rules
  • Manuals

Even manuals from older Fitbits, like the Fitbit One or Flyer headphones, are now available as PDFs on Google. Fitbit chat support also continues without using Google.

The Fitbit discussion community is unchanged. It is still on community.fitbit.com after 10 years. James Park, a Fitbit leader, thanked people for being part of it. He said they created a welcoming place for all levels and goals of fitness.
