Big Boost For Galaxy Gamers: FSR Game Enhancing Tech Coming Soon?

According to a leak, Samsung, AMD, and Qualcomm are working together on bringing a new software called FSR to Galaxy phones. FSR stands for “FidelityFX Super Resolution”. It uses techniques to boost frame rates and improve performance in supported games.

Right now, FSR works on AMD graphics cards and some games on PC. It’s also available on handheld devices like the Steam Deck. However, this leak suggests Samsung wants to add it to future Galaxy phones too.

FSR is different from Nvidia’s DLSS technology as it doesn’t rely on artificial intelligence. But if Samsung can adopt it for mobile, games could run smoother with higher-quality visuals. This could make Galaxy phones a serious option for on-the-go gaming.

The leak doesn’t give many details, but Samsung may add FSR to its next flagship S series. As AMD and Qualcomm are involved, it may support Snapdragon and Exynos phones. Samsung is also packing their phones with new AI features, so FSR could be part of that.

Mobile gamers will have to wait and see if Samsung phones really do get FSR support soon. But this leak hints Galaxy’s gaming performance could see a nice boost thanks to this new technology partnership between Samsung, AMD, and Qualcomm!
