We’ve heard rumors that Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S24 phones earlier than usual. Now it seems we have a firm launch date: January 17! According to a news report, Samsung will hold a big event in San Francisco to show off the new Galaxy S phones.
This isn’t the first date we’ve heard of the Galaxy S24 launch. Another leak said it would happen on January 18. So it looks like Samsung is aiming for the third week of January for the big reveal.
Samsung’s phone-making partners will also start mass production a month earlier than normal. This suggests Samsung wants to beat Apple to the punch by launching the Galaxy S24 before the rumored iPhone 15 launch.
In addition to the Galaxy S phones, Samsung will also introduce its new Fold and Flip folding phones in the United States next year. Previously, Samsung only launched these folding models in South Korea. But in 2024, the United States will host not one but two big Samsung events!
