Today, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12 in China, and it’s tentatively one of the best Android phones you can buy. However, global availability remains a big question. Now we have some good news!
OnePlus has told reporters that the OnePlus 12 will be available in other parts of the world early next year. They did not give us an exact date, but leaks suggest it may be revealed on January 23rd. So mark your calendars for late January if you want to see what the OnePlus 12 is all about outside of China.
As for what else we may see on that date, OnePlus hinted that there will be “other products” shown off too. Rumors point to the mid-range OnePlus 12R being for global markets instead of just India. It’s also possible we could meet a new pair of wireless earbuds since they often announce phones and headphones together.
The OnePlus 12 looks like an impressive update over the OnePlus 11. Key upgrades are its super-fast Snapdragon chip, a periscope camera for zooming in close, and a large battery that can charge wirelessly or with a cable.
