As Samsung announced last month, the Galaxy AI suite and the Gauss AI model will be included in the Galaxy S24 series. AI Live Translate Call functionality is easily the coolest feature, as it allows for real-time translations. We’ve now learned more about how this translation feature will work.
The AI Live Translate Call will first support languages that many people speak, like English and Spanish. Languages like Korean and Japanese will be added later. This is good because more people can use the translation feature at first.
Something really great is that the translation will work even if the other person isn’t using a Samsung phone! So if you have a Galaxy phone and call a friend with an iPhone, Xiaomi phone, or any other brand, they will still hear the translation. You both don’t need Samsung phones for it to work.
The Galaxy S24 will have many artificial intelligence (AI) features besides translation. Leaked information says there will be photo tools, a chatbot assistant, text message options, automatically made wallpapers, and note summaries. Samsung is making their phones smarter with helpful AI features.
We’ll know more when Samsung officially announces the Galaxy S24 phones next month. It looks like they will have great AI abilities to make communicating easier worldwide.
