For quite some time now, OnePlus has been teasing its first foldable phone but has yet to announce its official launch date. OPPO, however, has announced that its new book-style folding phone will be available globally on the same day as the OPPO Find N3.
It has previously been revealed that the OnePlus Open and OPPO Find N3 are essentially the same device under a different marketing name. So we’ll find out more about the OnePlus Open when OPPO shares details about the Find N3 on October 19th.
At their event in Singapore, OPPO will tell us about “not one, but two awesome folding phones.” This likely means they will share availability for the OPPO Find N3 Flip too. This phone is only available in China so far.
The OPPO announcement starts at 2:30 AM Eastern Time on the 19th. We expect OPPO to go first with the details. Then OnePlus may follow up with their own announcement about the Open.
Fans have been eagerly waiting to learn when they can get their hands on OnePlus’ first folding phone. Now it seems we just need to tune in to the OPPO event later this month to get all the important details.
