New Leaks Reveal Google’s Colorful and Curvy Pixel 8A

In addition to the $699 Pixel 8 and $999 Pixel 8 Pro, OnLeaks and Smartprix have provided unofficial pictures of a roughly 6.1-inch Pixel 8A. The leaked images and renders show a curvy design like the Pixel 8 with two rear cameras and a front camera in the display. Even better, photos shared separately last month by Abhishek Yadav look almost identical, confirming Google’s new rounded smartphone look.

It seems the Pixel 8A will continue Google’s tradition of providing a cheaper option that still looks premium. When asked, Google told an Austrian news site they are focused on premium phones, not budget models for now. Both leak sources believe the 8A will use the same Tensor G3 chip as its pricier siblings, but it remains unknown if Google will leave out any Pixel 8 software features. As they limited some abilities to the Pro, what may be missing from the more affordable 8A?

Unofficial images give us an early peek at the colorful Pixel 8A design. Following the curve of the Pixel 8, it seems the 8A could bring Google’s latest look to more buyers. With the same powerful chip and cameras as its brothers, it will be exciting to see how Google prices this entry when it is released. Keep an eye out for future leaks and announcements to learn more about Google’s affordable new curvy contender joining the Pixel 8 family!
