There have been tons of leaks about the Pixel 8 before it’s even announced. We just saw prices and specs leaked over the weekend. Now an official-looking Google video has given us a peek at the phone’s camera features.
The video shows the Pixel 8 Pro will get advanced “pro mode” camera controls. You’ll be able to adjust things like shutter speed and ISO just like a DSLR camera. This should make professional photographers happy.
It also reveals a fun new “face swap” feature. Sometimes people make weird faces in photos – but not anymore! The Pixel 8 can capture multiple shots and let you pick the best expression. Or it may touch up faces using AI. Either way, no more photobombing your selfies.
Other returning camera features mentioned are Night Sight for low-light shots, Astrophotography for pictures of the stars, Audio Zoom to isolate sound, and Super Res Zoom to zoom in closer without pixels.
The leak gives us a good idea of what to expect from the Pixel 8 camera before the official October 4th announcement. With features like pro mode and face swap, it looks like the Pixel Camera could get even more powerful!
