Google Works to Fix Annoying Android 14 Profile Bug

An Android 14 bug has been causing havoc for people with multiple profiles. According to a Google representative, the team is “working hard on a fix” for the bug. This bug is a big problem, but help may be on the way!

The issue affects many Pixel owners who use multiple user accounts on their phones. After updating to Android 14, some users saw missing apps, constant crashes, and even lost access to their phone storage completely! Over 350 people complained about it on Google’s issue tracker.

It’s impacted Pixel 6 owners and others with different Pixel models too. Some can’t even take screenshots to show the problem because their storage is so full. A few people said it felt like their phone got infected by ransomware!

Google is taking this seriously. They said they are looking into the storage problem and working to create a fix. The issue tracker on Google’s site now has over 420 reports from frustrated users.

Most just want to use their phones normally again. Let’s hope Google can resolve this profile bug soon so multiple account owners can enjoy Android 14 like it’s meant to be used. Stay tuned for any updates; fingers crossed a solution arrives to end this annoying issue!
