Google Messages finally adds support for dual & multi SIM RCS

Google Messages now supports dual-SIM RCS texting. A Telegram user enabled the feature and tipster Assemble Debug on X shared screenshots of it. To send an RCS message, users can switch between both SIMs after activating RCS for both. This new feature is great for people who use two phone numbers.

Some Lucky Users Get Dual-SIM RCS Early

Some Samsung phone users were able to get dual-SIM RCS chatting to work on the Samsung version of Google Messages app. They turned on some settings to unlock the hidden feature. Now they can quickly switch between phone numbers to chat with RCS.

More People Will Get It Soon

Google is testing dual-SIM RCS in the beta version of Messages. The code hints it’s coming to all users. Since it’s in beta testing and some people already have it, most folks will probably get dual-SIM RCS within a month or two in a new Messages update. All we need to do is wait patiently!

No Root Needed

The tipster Assemble Debug shared an easy guide to unlock secret Google Messages settings without rooting your phone. Rooting is when you get extra device controls, but it can cause issues. Their no-root method sounds safer if you want to try enabling dual-SIM RCS before the official update.

Double Your Chatting Fun!

With dual-SIM RCS support, Google Messages is making it simple to use two phone numbers from one app. Chat with your work contacts and personal friends seamlessly. The update is coming soon, so be on the lookout for more chatting power!
