We are all looking forward to the launch of Samsung Galaxy S24 series in early 2024. Traditionally, Samsung’s flagships have been among the best Android phones available during the year, and the Galaxy S24 appears to be on track to continue that trend, even if some of them feature Exynos processors. Dummy units of the Galaxy S24 series have been spotted in the wild, and they strongly resemble the iPhone 14 Pro.
Phone reviewer Sonny Dickson got their hands on dummy models of the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra. These dummy phones show what the real Galaxy S24 phones may look like. If the dummy phones are accurate, Samsung seems to have copied some design features from the iPhone 14 Pro.
The Galaxy S24 dummy phones have flat sides and sharp edges, just like the iPhone 14 Pro. But even Apple has moved on from this design with their new iPhone 15 Pro phones. The dummy of the Galaxy S24 Ultra looks more square and boxy than the current S23 Ultra. It has a rectangle shape with sharp corners, unlike the S23 Ultra which some said was not comfortable to hold.
When compared to the Galaxy S22 Plus, the Galaxy S24 dummy phones are much more similar to the iPhone 14 Pro. The sides have a shiny finish like past iPhones. This makes it seem probable that Samsung has taken inspiration directly from Apple’s design this time around.
Of course, we won’t know if the dummy phones perfectly match the real Galaxy S24 until Samsung announces them early next year. But it’s clear the new Galaxies may borrow the iPhone’s signature look.
