A website called GizNext has shared pictures and a video that they say shows what the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus may look like. The images give us our first glimpse of this new phone model.
The renders, which are computer-generated 3D images, and 360-degree video show a design similar to the regular Galaxy S24. This means it is expected to have flat edges around the sides of the phone, like the latest iPhones. The Galaxy S23 Plus currently has smooth curved edges.
Some key things we can see from the pictures include flat sides and a flat-screen. It also looks like the camera modules on the back will each have their own separate cut-out hole, like on the Galaxy S23 Plus now. One edge of the phone has what’s called a UWB antenna strip.
GizNext reports some initial size details too. They say the S24 Plus may be a little taller, thinner and thicker than the current S23 Plus model. However, the differences aren’t major.
Previous rumors suggest the S24 Plus will have the powerful new Exynos processor, a large 4,900mAh battery and camera software improvements. Samsung seems committed to using flat edges on phones going forward.
We’ll likely see many more pictures and leaks before the phones are officially announced, possibly in January. But for now, this gives us an exciting first look at what could be coming in the next Samsung Galaxy S series!
