Live Translation for Phone Calls
The first AI feature is called Live Translate. This allows you to speak foreign languages right from the phone app. You can talk to someone in another language during a call. At first, it will support English and Spanish. Later, it will also work for Korean and Japanese. Best of all, Live Translate will function even if the other person doesn’t have a Galaxy S24. So both people don’t need a Samsung phone.
Edit Photos Using AI from Anywhere
The second feature is called generative editing. This lets you move or remove objects in your photos. You can also fill in the empty spaces automatically. To use it, you must connect to the internet and sign in to your Samsung account. This suggests Samsung will use cloud computing to handle the editing. This means AI can enhance your pictures from anywhere.
Other Expected S24 Features
Leaks show the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a 200-megapixel camera for super-clear photos. It will also offer advanced zoom capabilities even in low light, called Nightography Zoom. The regular S24 and S24 Plus will each sport 50MP cameras for sharper selfies and scenes. All three will deliver brighter screens for comfortable viewing anywhere.
