The OnePlus 12 was unveiled in China last month, and it featured a periscope camera for the first time on a OnePlus phone. Now, it appears that a mid-range phone will have the same zoom camera.
Realme announced some exciting news: one of their upcoming Realme 12 Pro phones will have the same great zoom camera as the OnePlus 12. This camera is called a “periscope camera.”. It allows you to zoom in much closer without losing quality like normal phones.
The camera is made by OV and has 64 megapixels. It can zoom in three times closer without quality loss. It also has image stabilization to reduce shaking. Even better, the main camera will be a 50-megapixel sensor from Sony; this is a very high-quality sensor usually found on expensive flagship phones.
Realme said the phone will be part of their Realme 12 Pro series launching in January. This means it should be available soon in places like Asia, Europe and India. The last Realme 11 Pro Plus was quite affordable at around $361, so we can expect a similar price.
