Big Update Arrives for Galaxy S23 Phones on T-Mobile

There are reports that the long-awaited One UI 6 update is now rolling out in the United States. A few Reddit users report that their Samsung Galaxy S23 devices are now receiving the update. According to reports, the update is rolling out to T-Mobile-locked phones.

The One UI 6 update rolling out on Galaxy S23 has the version number S916USQU1BWK4 or S916UOYN1BWK4. It weighs 3.32MB, so it’s best to download over WiFi if possible. Users should check their phone has enough storage too.

This One UI 6 update brings the November security patch, fixing bugs and protecting your phone. Unlike other countries that got the October patch, US phones now get the latest fixes.

It’s unclear when unlocked Galaxy S23 models on other US carriers will receive One UI 6. But now that T-Mobile devices are updating, unlocked versions should follow soon. Reports say Samsung ironed out more problems for this US version too.

To see if your update is ready, go to Settings > Software Update and check for the latest download. Getting One UI 6 means enjoying improved features and a safer Galaxy S23 experience.
