Motorola’s New Twist on Phones: A Flexible Display You Can Wear!

Despite its familiarity with foldable phones, Motorola is taking aim at another alternative phone format with its new concept. As well as serving as a smartphone and an elaborate digital bangle, the company revealed a new bendable phone concept. Called the “adaptive display”, this phone has a large 6.9-inch screen that can change shapes! It can lay flat like a regular phone, stand up on its own, or even twist all the way around your wrist.

The flexible screen means you get more options for how to use your phone. If you need a bigger screen to watch videos, you can stand it up for a clear 6.5 inch view. Or wrap it on your arm like a fancy smartwatch if your hands are full. We don’t know how well it would stay on yet, but it’s a fun idea! Motorola hopes to make the display twist and turn without hurting the phone inside. But there are still questions about things like the battery life and processor if you bend it lots of times.

For now, this flexible Motorola phone is just a prototype – a concept to show what may be possible. But bendable phones that adapt to you could be the future! Motorola also announced some cool new artificial intelligence features coming to its devices like better scanning, summarizing texts and keeping your info private. Exciting times ahead – it’ll be interesting to see if this flexible display phone makes the jump from concept to stores!
