We’re excited about the new iPhone 15 phones coming this year. One big change is that all iPhones will now charge with USB-C cables, like many other phones. This will make charging much easier for everyone.
While all the phones will get small updates, Apple will save the best new features for the “Pro” models, like always. But it looks like the top iPhone, the Pro Max, may cost $100 more than the current Pro Max phone!
A leak from TrendForce, a company that studies phone parts, says the regular iPhone 15 and big iPhone 15 Plus will cost around the same as the iPhone 14. But they think the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be $1,199 for the smallest model instead of $1,099 like the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
They also shared what they think the prices will be for all the new iPhones:
- Phone 15: 128GB for $799; 256GB for $899; 512GB for $1,099.
- iPhone 15 Plus: 128GB for $899; 256GB for $999; 512GB for $1,199.
- iPhone 15 Pro: 128GB for $999; 256GB for $1,099; 512GB for $1,299; 1TB for $1,499.
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 128GB for $1,199; 256GB for $1,299; 512GB for $1,499; 1TB for $1,699.
The leak says the Pro phones may keep the same storage options as now too. Apple usually keeps the old iPhones around at lower prices once the new ones come out.
TrendForce predicts the Pro iPhones will get upgrades like better cameras, processors, and frames made of titanium and aluminum. The regular iPhones may get larger 48-megapixel cameras and Dynamic Island screens like the Pros.
We’ll find out for sure on September 12th, when Apple announces the new iPhone 15 models. It looks like the powerful iPhone 15 Pro Max could be the most expensive iPhone ever!
