Leaked Pictures Show Samsung Galaxy A35’s Boxier Design with Curved Buttons

A Samsung Galaxy A-series phone is likely to be one of your best options if you’re in the US and looking for a budget or mid-range phone. The features are practical, they’re reliable, and they don’t cost as much as a flagship. It is predicted that Samsung will refresh its lineup for 2024, and a recurring theme will be a squared-off and boxy design with sharp edges similar to the iPhone 14 series. There have been leaked pictures of the upcoming Galaxy A35, which indicate Samsung is going with the boxy design, but making the edges softer.

The pictures from leaker OnLeaks show the Galaxy A35 looking like other Samsung phones from the front and back. It seems to have the usual Samsung camera on the back. The screen looks flat with thick borders, though some may not like the bottom border being bigger.

The most noticeable changes are on the sides. The frame is flat on most edges but has a curved bump for the buttons on the right side. The edges do not seem as sharp as the iPhone 14, instead being softer edges like the iPhone 15.

It doesn’t look like the Galaxy A35 will have a headphone jack, so you may need wireless headphones. The measurements show it being around 162mm tall and 78mm wide, with a 6.6-inch screen.

The current A34 came out in March 2023, so the A35 may launch around then in 2024. We’ll have to wait and see how Samsung improves this budget/mid-range phone. But it appears the boxy design is coming while keeping edges smoother than the iPhone boxiness. Only time will tell if this design change draws in more buyers!
