Google has finally released a stable version of Android 14 beta 4.1 and it’s already live on the Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S23 seems to be next in line to get the new OS. According to reports, Samsung will launch the One UI 6.0 beta program based on Android 14 on August 2 for the Galaxy S23 series.

This is one of the fastest rollouts in history and Google has promised that future rollouts would be even faster. Preparation for One UI 6.0 began last month when Samsung began updating apps with One UI 6.0 support.

While the initial reports suggested that the beta program would launch in July, Samsung delayed it by just a week. The beta program is now expected to start from August 2. The delay however seems to be short lived.

Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 smartphones may be the next in line to get the Android 14 beta after the S23 series, on August 9. Samsung typically will roll out beta updates to its flagship phones first before bringing it to mid-range devices.

All in all, this is great news for Galaxy S23 fans who have been eagerly waiting to experience the latest Android 14 features and One UI 6.0 customizations on their upcoming smartphones. Given Samsung’s focus on faster updates, we can expect the official and stable Android 14 rollout for the S23 series to happen quite soon after the beta program begins.

So if you’re planning to buy a Galaxy S23, you will likely get to experience one of the fastest Android updates from Samsung. Stay tuned for more updates as the beta program draws closer.
