This September, Apple will unveil the iPhone 15, new Apple Watches, and more at its next big event. In this post, we’ll cover how and when you can watch the event and what Apple is expected to announce.
The iPhone 15 showcase will take place on September 12th at 1pm in the afternoon. Apple has called the event “Wonderlust”. It will happen live from Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
You’ll be able to watch the event online on Apple’s website or YouTube channel. Apple will share the links before the big day.
All signs point to the iPhone 15 coming with a USB-C port instead of Lightning for charging and file transfers. This is because new rules require phone makers to use USB-C. The top iPhone 15 Pro models may support faster USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt speeds too.
Apple is also expected to bring the Dynamic Island feature, found on the iPhone 14 Pro, to the whole iPhone 15 lineup. Other rumored iPhone 15 Pro upgrades include a titanium body, thinner bezels, and potentially a higher price tag.
Apple may announce two new Watches – the Watch Series 9 with an updated processor for better battery life, and a darker model of the rugged Watch Ultra. We likely won’t see changes to the standard Watch or Watch SE yet.
AirPods could arrive with a USB-C charging case to match the iPhones. More exciting AirPods updates may have to wait until 2024-2025 though.
The event will also give us release dates for the free iOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS software updates coming later this fall.
