After a period of testing with a limited number of users, Threads is now releasing its “trending now” feature to all users in the United States. The function will be available on the search page and the “For You” feed within the app.

Threads Trends Show Most Talked About Topics

The feature displays the five most engaging discussions happening on the platform in real-time. This gives users a sense of what the community is focused on outside their normal feeds.

Politics Often Rises to the Top

While politics won’t be recommended, trending topics tend to reflect political events. During recent speeches, those discussions dominated the Threads trends list.
