Google Makes Chrome Search Tips Smarter and Easier to Use

Yesterday, Google announced improvements to Chrome’s search suggestions. With the update, Chrome users will get more helpful search suggestions based on what others are searching for, see more images for suggested searches, and find search suggestions even with slow connections.

Google is updating how search suggestions work in the Chrome browser. Search suggestions are the words and topics that pop up below the search bar as you type to help you find what you need faster. Now the suggestions will be more useful.

If you searched for Korean food before, you may see tips for related dishes others searched for next time. For example, if you looked up “Japchae” you may see suggestions for “tteok-bokki,” “bulgogi” or “bibimbap” too.

When searching for products, you’ll see photos to help instead of just text. For example, if you type “bohemian table” you may see pictures of tables, tablecloths, and lamps to help you decide what to buy. These visual search tips will be on Chrome for Android phones and Apple phones too.

Google also improved search suggestions so they still work even if your internet connection is slow. Chrome users on Android and iOS can now see suggestions in these situations. It means you can get helpful tips when browsing privately too.

The updates make Chrome search suggestions smarter and more useful. Users will have an easier time finding what they need with visuals and relevant recommendations from others. So give the updated search suggestions in Chrome a try next time you need info fast!
