Even though virtual keyboards have long replaced physical keyboards on phones, there is still a desire to click on actual buttons. The iPhone 15 Pro and 14 Pro just got an accessory that may be of interest to those who wish to return to the physical keyboards of the past.
The Clicks Creator Keyboard is a new attachment for iPhones created by popular YouTuber Michael Fisher and his company Clicks Technology. It wraps around the bottom of your device like a phone case, with a full QWERTY keyboard laid out below.
No longer will you need to open the onscreen keyboard to type messages, take notes or update social media. Just slide out the Clicks Keyboard and click away with tactile keys. It even offers shortcuts like pressing Command-H to go straight home.
Best of all, the keys are backlit so you can see to type in low light conditions. And unlike Bluetooth keyboards, it directly connects through your iPhone’s Lightning/USB-C port so you can charge while still using it.
The Clicks Creator Keyboard costs $139 on their website. It’s compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max and 14 Pro. Two colors are available now with promises of more if it proves popular.
