Apple Wants Siri to Get Much Smarter!

We are in the midst of a big AI push on smartphones. With the Galaxy S24 series, we’re set to see advanced AI features on devices and in the cloud in 2024. In addition, Apple is reportedly planning to enter the world of generative AI. Apple’s efforts might bear fruit as early as next year, suggests Revegnus on X (formerly Twitter).

According to a new leak on X (formerly Twitter), Apple is working hard to make Siri way smarter! The company is using a technology called Large Language Models to give Siri superpowers. This will allow Siri to understand language much better and be able to answer all kinds of questions.

Apple wants to show off the new and improved smart Siri at WWDC in 2024. This big tech event happens every June, when Apple shows the latest software updates. The leak says the iPhone 16, coming in late 2024, will be the first iPhones to get the smarter Siri.

The leak comes from Revegnus, a tipster on Twitter. He says Apple has been working on this top-secret project to build an AI assistant as powerful as it can be. Siri has lagged behind assistants like Google and Alexa for a long time. It seems Apple finally wants Siri to catch up and become the best!

Making Siri smarter is important, as other companies like Samsung are also working on AI. Samsung’s new Galaxy S24 phones next year will have enhanced on-device intelligence. Samsung even made a new virtual assistant called Galaxy AI, which can do translation during calls. Apple will need powerful new AI features on its phones to stay competitive.

It looks like Apple fans may see a mega-boosted Siri for the first time in 2024! With improved natural language skills, Siri could answer any question you have almost like a real person. Only time will tell if Apple can deliver on its plan to create the ultimate artificial intelligence personal assistant.
