Apple Still Quiet About iPhone 15 Overheating While More Users Complain

More and more users are complaining about the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max running hotter than what is humanly comfortable as the iPhone 15 series gains popularity. It has been reported previously that early adopters faced heat issues, and now more consumers and more recent waves of adopters are experiencing the same problem. Despite the complaints, Apple has not addressed the issue.

Plenty of reviewers noticed the problem too. The iPhones would heat up during regular tasks, not just intensive games or benchmarks. Things like phone calls, using Instagram, and even charging would cause the phones to feel very warm. One user said their phone got up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit just from browsing Instagram videos. Other testers showed these iPhones run hotter than comparable Android phones.

The strange part is the problem doesn’t affect every person. Some older iPhone models updating to the latest software are having similar issues. This makes it hard to know if it’s a software bug or hardware defect in the new phones.

Apple has been very quiet. When contacted before, they didn’t comment on the reports. Employees are telling customers to check an old support page about overheating, but it does not mention the iPhone 15 specifically.

Experts think the phones get too hot because of design changes to make them lighter. Using titanium and reducing the size may limit heat discharge. One app called Instagram was found to rapidly warm up phones too before a recent update. But charging remains a heating cause.

For now, there is no real “fix” besides slowing down performance. It’s unclear when Apple will publicly address customers’ heat woes and what solutions they may offer.
