ZOPO Speed 7 Review

The ZOPO Speed 7 is a phone that combines performance, intelligence, and creativity in a $200 price tag. Wait, let’s take some time to understand what I do mean.

Design

The luxurious design that the  Speed 7 reflects is as a result of the delicate design that was dedicated in crafting the brushed metal-like unibody through Nano injection moulding and spray coating.
The mid frame is a slim and stylish gloss silver symmetrical design. You will understand how lovely this can be as you unbox one of this beauties.

Display

The speed 7 is a 5″ phone with full HD resolution. The screen is frameless and can display first class visual effect.

Hardware and Storage

The phone is with a 64-bit octa core processor that is clocked at 1.5 GHz and with the Cortex-A53 architecture.
The 3GB ram and 16GB internal memory will always tell you to bring it on, daring all your apps to be their best. The memory is expandable to 64GB via microSD.
You can use a dual 4G LTE micro sim at both ends of the phone.
The sensors that are packed inside this phone is something else as I never thought that with just $200, I would be getting compass, gravity, accelerometer and proximity sensor!!!
The Li-polymer battery for the speed 7 has a capacity of 2500mAh and is equipped with a super power saving chip according to ZOPO. They made the battery safer and more reliable.
I’m certain you are running out of reasons not to buy this phone.

Camera and OS

The phone is with a 13.2MP back camera and a 5MP front camera. The quality of pictures taken with the back camera are truly impressive.

The power saving Android 5.1 that this phone ships with is better simplified with the Z-UI that helps interface.

The virtual body system helps to effectively prevent palm rejection.

Add Ons

Welcome to my favourite part of the show.

You would remember that I said earlier that the phone is intelligent, well, that is because it allows gesture sensing for opening various apps while double tapping the screen while in sleep state can wake the screen. What’s more, the wave of your hand can actually move to the next picture in a gallery.

The location sensor can connect you to USA’s GPS or Russia’s GLONASS so as to more accurately read your location. You can’t possibly get lost my dear if you buy this phone.
On-Point Rating

It will be sheer wickedness to give this phone an OPR less than 10 hence I have decided to give it an OPR of 11.2
