Samsung surprised us with a small tease about the Galaxy Ring during its Unpacked event. Samsung confirmed that this smart ring will support Samsung Health, but did not reveal much else.
Luckily, an analyst got to try out some prototypes of the Galaxy Ring. They said the ring was “ridiculously light” and would come in sizes up to size 13. The analyst also shared that Samsung plans to offer the ring in three different styles or finishes, but did not say what those might be.
The last detail is that Samsung is expected to fully launch the Galaxy Ring later this year. No set date was given for its release. However, since Samsung often shows off new gadgets in August, it’s possible we’ll learn more at their foldable phone event then.
