iPhone 16 Pro Mockups Show Bigger Screens and a New Capture Button

With Titanium as the base material, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max feature a refreshed design. It is indeed a refined phone that fixes the sharper, boxier design and heavy weight of the Stainless Steel iPhone 14 Pro Max. Based on these new mockups, Apple appears to be sticking to the same design and build for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The website MacRumors posted some mockups of what the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could look like. These mockups give us an idea of what changes Apple may make internally for the 2024 iPhones. At first glance, the iPhone 16 Pro models look pretty similar to the 15 Pro models with the curved design and Titanium material.

The main visible differences in the mockups are bigger screens for both models. The iPhone 16 Pro would have a 6.3-inch display, up slightly from the current 6.1-inch size. And the iPhone 16 Pro Max screen would grow to a large 6.9-inches from the current 6.7-inches. It’s possible Apple needs the extra screen space to add a special zoom camera.

Another change shown is a new button on the side of the iPhone 16 Pro models. Dubbed the “Capture” button, it would be installed under the power button and would allow quick video recording. This button presses in instead of clicking like the others for simple operation. It could make capturing moments easier than ever before.

The mockups give us an early peek at how Apple may refine its winning iPhone Pro design formula next year. Bigger screens and a handy new button seem promising. Only time will tell how accurate these mockups end up being!
