As you noticed, Google has many subscription choices like Google One for storage, Nest Aware for smart homes, and Fitbit Premium for workouts. That’s a lot to keep track of! But it looks like Google wants to make things easier.
Google is working on a “all-in-one plan”. Code in the Google Home app mentioned a new bundle. It said the bundle would include Nest Aware and 2 terabytes (TB) of storage for Photos, Drive, and Gmail. There may be other benefits too, but it didn’t say what exactly.
This bundle would combine Nest Aware, which helps protect smart home devices, with a large Google One storage plan. 2 TB is enough space for thousands of photos and files! Bundling these could save money compared to paying for each separately.
Right now, Nest Aware costs $8 per month alone. And the 2 TB Google One storage is $10 per month. So the bundle needs to cost less than $18 total to be a good deal.
We’ll have to wait and see what Google includes in this bundle and how much it will cost. Google recently ended another bundle called Pixel Pass that combined a phone with services. So hopefully this new plan lasts longer than that one!
