Gmail Updates Android App to Select 50 Emails at a Time

Gmail Updates Android App to Select 50 Emails at a Time

Think of how much time you could save if you didn’t have to select emails one by one to archive, delete, or mark as read. Well, now you can with Gmail’s latest update for Android phones.

The app now includes a “Select all” button that chooses 50 messages at once so you can archive, delete or mark them read in bulk. This can save lots of time over selecting emails individually.

While it’s called “Select all”, it doesn’t actually select every single email like on the desktop. That’s because Android Gmail shows unlimited emails as you scroll. Selecting all of them could take forever!

Desktop Gmail lets you pick 50 emails initially too. But it has an extra button to choose everything on that page. The Android version doesn’t work quite the same yet.

The update is gradually rolling out, so you may not see it right away. Just be patient and check back for the new batch-selecting feature in the coming days. Updating Gmail is sure to boost your email productivity like never before!
