On Wednesday, Brave announced its AI assistant, Leo, will now be available for iPhone and iPad users. People can ask questions, summarize pages, create content, and more using the AI assistant. After launching on Android and desktop, the AI assistant is now available on iOS.

A helpful new feature for iOS users is voice control – you can talk to Leo instead of typing. Just say what you need and Leo will understand without tapping the screen. This makes interacting with the AI much simpler.

As well as summarizing websites or videos, Leo can answer your questions about anything it reads. It can also generate long reports, translate between languages, rewrite pages, or transcribe audio & video content. With Leo available, Brave hopes users won’t need to go elsewhere for an AI helper.

Leo gives access to popular AI models like Mixtral, Claude, and Llama. Mixtral is set as the default, but you can change to different models or upgrade to Leo Premium for faster response times for $14.99 monthly.

Brave isn’t alone in offering a browser-based AI – Opera launched their assistant Aria last year too. To use Leo on iOS, update to Brave version 1.63 and start typing in the address bar. Select “Ask Leo” to get chatting with your new digital friend anytime!
