US Cellulars Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge get Android Nougat

US Cellular’s Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge get Android Nougat. This update is a month later than that of the top four US carriers.

SamMobile recorded the file size of the Nougat update to be around 1.5 GB, therefore, it is advised to download over WiFi.

The Nougat updates comes packed with a number of new features including multi-window support, improved Doze mode for an extended battery life, Blue Light filter, a new Performance Mode and much more.

While the Update started rolling our today, it might take about one to seven days before it shows up on your device.

To check if the update is available on your device, follow the steps listed below:

  • Enable WiFi
  • Go to Settings
  • Select About Phone
  • Navigate to Software Version
  • Select Check for Updates
  • Follow On Screen Instructions

If you are using an Unlocked version of Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, your Android N update is coming soon.
