In 2023, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G was one of the best mid-range phones you could buy. Even now, it’s still a good option. But if you’re looking for a new Samsung mid-range phone, you may want to wait for the Galaxy A55 5G.
New photos of the Galaxy A55 were recently leaked, giving us a look at the phone before its release. These pictures show some new details about the design and color options.
The Galaxy A55 will have a design similar to the A54, with smooth edges and thin bezels. But Samsung is adding something called a “Key Island” for the first time on an A5x series phone. This means the volume and power buttons will be raised slightly, making them easier to press. Samsung says this gives a better grip.
The leaked images reveal the Galaxy A55 will come in three color choices – Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy. The frames also have antenna lines, hinting at a metal build quality like the Galaxy A54.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A55 is expected pack the new Exynos 1480 processor for strong performance. It will also get a better 50MP main camera and faster 25W charging.
