Make Your Own ChatBot With GPTs

As part of its developer conference today, OpenAI announced several ChatGPT developments. In addition, it announced that GPTs, customizable versions of its chatbot, would be available soon. GPTs will let people make their own version of ChatGPT without any coding.

OpenAI says that GPTs can do different tasks to help people. Some examples are learning rules for board games, helping kids with math homework, or creating sticker designs. Users will be in control of their own information when using a GPT too. Chats will not be shared with the person who made the GPT. Any information sent to external websites can also be chosen by the user. OpenAI also wants to prevent any harmful GPTs from being shared.

In a few weeks, OpenAI plans to launch a “GPT Store”. This is where people can find GPTs made by other users. Only GPT makers who follow the rules will have their creations available. The most useful and fun GPTs will also be highlighted. In the future, GPT creators may earn money depending on how many people use what they make.

For now, only people with ChatGPT Plus or the business version can try sample GPTs. But OpenAI says regular users will get to try them out soon too. With GPTs, anyone will be able to make their very own customized chatbot to use!
