Google Messages Makes Sharing Multiple Photos a Breeze

These days, Google Messages is found on most Android flagships, and it’s a very useful app. Thanks to RCS, it can handle all your SMS and MMS needs as well as longer texts and group chats. RCS allows you to share images as well, but the app doesn’t really make it easy to attach many images at once. The Messages app is now making it simpler to attach multiple images, so Google is improving the experience.

The app is testing a new way to add photos when clicking to share one. Previously, you’d snap a pic and only send that single photo. Now, the full-screen preview lets you add captions and tap “Add More” to keep selecting photos.

This beta feature is rolling out more widely across devices and regions. While it removes image editing, attaching multiple photos in one go will save time versus doing it one by one. You can even add captions to each photo individually.

Not all users see the update yet as it’s limited to those in the Messages beta. Based on feedback, Google may expand the improved photo sharing to everyone soon. Have you received the new UI? Let us know if you like being able to easily send a bunch of pictures together!

Google Messages is optimizing for fun photo conversations with friends and family by streamlining multi-image attachments. With a simple tap, you can now flood your chats with all your snaps.
