Apple Raising Prices on Popular Services Like TV+, Arcade & News

Many of Apple’s services, including Apple TV Plus, Apple Arcade, Apple News Plus, and Apple One, are being raised in price. Apple TV Plus, for example, is going from $6.99 to $9.99 per month, and Apple’s other services are also seeing significant hikes. Now readers can find out which Apple services will cost more and how prices are changing.

Apple TV Plus is not the only one that costs more now – the price of Apple Arcade is increasing from $4.99 to $6.99 per month. Apple News Plus, meanwhile, will rise from $9.99 to $12.99 each month. Since these three services all got more expensive, Apple One bundles are rising in price too across its three tiers.

The Individual Apple One plan increases from $16.95 to $19.95. The Family plan goes up from $22.95 to $25.95, and the Premier tier is costlier at $37.95 compared to the previous $32.95 price. Apple One combines access to TV+, Music and Arcade in its basic plans or adds Fitness+ and News+ in Premier. Thankfully, prices aren’t changing for Apple Music, Fitness Plus or iCloud Plus this time.

Existing customers will see the higher subscription fees apply on their next billing date 30 days after the announcement. International markets may also see price increases. With subscription services growing in importance, the hikes likely aim to boost Apple’s revenue. Just one year ago, Music, TV+ and Apple One all had price bumps as well.

As streaming continues to be more valuable to users, companies regularly find it necessary to charge a little more. Now readers know where Apple stands on adjusted pricing for its popular content and app platforms. Let’s hope quality keeps improving alongside these subscription cost adjustments over time.
