Google Makes App Management Easier for All Your Devices

The Android platform isn’t just for smartphones, as the platform also powers smartwatches, TV boxes, and more. Google has now announced a new feature that makes it easier to manage apps on connected devices.

Google updated the Play Store app with a handy new tool. You will soon be able to uninstall apps from other devices, like smartwatches, right from your phone’s Play Store! No need to mess with apps on smaller screens now.

This should really help people with Wear OS smartwatches at first. Right now, you can install watch apps from your phone Play Store. But there’s no easy way to delete them from your watch. Google didn’t share which other device types we might see this on too. But tablet and TV apps could work as well someday.

In a poll, most users said the connection between Android gadgets was okay but could be better. Being able to uninstall apps remotely will fix that issue. Tighter integration like this new feature is great news. It shows Google wants to make our experience better whether using phones, watches, or other devices.

We don’t have all the details yet on the remote uninstall feature. But it should roll out soon in a Play Store update. Getting more control over apps on all our Android devices will be very helpful. Are you excited for an easier way to manage apps across multiple screens?
