Yesterday, Google announced several new features for YouTube Premium subscribers. It was also confirmed that more Premium plans are on the way. This is good news for people who like YouTube Premium but want more options for paying.
Google said on their help page that they want people to have more choices for YouTube Premium. They might offer Premium in more countries. They also said they will make new types of Premium plans and let people share Premium benefits with friends.
We don’t know exactly what the new plans will be like. But Google has been adding chatbot features to YouTube lately. So maybe one new plan will include special chatbot bonuses. There could also be cheaper plans that only work on phones or only on TV.
Many streaming services now offer very low-cost plans that still show some ads. Google may do this too – a plan that is cheaper than Premium but has fewer ads than regular YouTube. Or they could offer plans that are just for using YouTube on one device, like your phone.
We’ll have to wait and see what types of Premium plans Google announces. The options could help more people afford to subscribe.
