Spotify Makes Daylist Available Globally

Spotify has launched daylist globally. It’s a personalized playlist that changes based on your listening habits throughout the day. This launch came after the company first introduced it to its English-speaking markets last year. Both free and premium users will be able to access the playlist.

Daylist adjusts as your day goes on, playing music you usually like to hear in the morning, afternoon and night. It uses the songs and genres you regularly listen to at different times. The playlist title also changes to fit what time it is, like “Morning Commute Jamz” or “Late Night Chill Beats”.

Before this launch, daylist was only available in a few English-speaking countries like the US, UK and Canada. But now Spotify has expanded it to work in over 30 new languages worldwide. Some of the new languages included are Arabic, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.

Daylist has been popular with Spotify users. Even after expanding to more countries in March, 70% of people continued coming back to the playlist every week. Spotify hopes making it global will introduce more music discovery throughout each user’s day.

If you want to try out daylist on Spotify, just look for it in the “Made For You” section on mobile or click the link from your desktop. Now users all around the world can enjoy music customized for anytime, anywhere with Spotify’s daily changing playlist!
