Samsung’s One UI 6.1.1 Update Lauches in the US and Europe

Samsung released its One UI 6.1.1 software in Korea last week, but announced that the update would be available in North America and Europe on September 9. It’s finally here, and the new software is indeed on its way to the US and Europe.

Users have confirmed receiving One UI 6.1.1 in both areas. The update weighs around 2.8GB and includes the August security patch for most devices.

The new features coming in this update include Sketch to Image, Listening Mode in the interpreter app, and portrait studio. You’ll also find composer functionality built into the keyboard now.

The update allows turning sketches into real images. Listening Mode helps with translations by reading out text. And portrait studio offers creative controls for studio-quality photos.

Samsung confirmed more phones will get these AI upgrades too, such as the S23 series, S23 FE, Fold5, Flip5 and Tab S9 tablets.

It seems the rollout has begun for Galaxy S24 owners first. Be on the lookout to download the latest enhancements from Samsung worldwide!
