Mstar M1 Pro Review

This phablet is really creative and costs only $137 and is really enjoyable to use when you consider that it uses a 1.7GHz Octa Core processor and 2GB of RAM.

Design

The design of this phone is minimalist and the casing is really the highlight as it is a two-sided leather material embossed with classic skylight design.

The case allows you to toggle between time and music without flipping it open. So, if you are a music addict, this feature should entice you.

The body is from crafting of an aluminium-zinc metal that gives a comfortable feel. The back is made from faux-leather.

Display

The screen displays 720×1280 (basic HD) of pixels and while Mstar is not telling us how many pixels per inch we are getting, I’m suspecting that it will be between 200 and 275 PPI.

The screen size is 5.5″ and that means you will enjoy viewing your movies and playing your games.

The screen combines IPS and OGS technology and this is a good thing because it cares about your eyes.
Hardware and Storage

As earlier said, the M1 Pro is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa- Core processor that also has low power needs. However, that didn’t stop Mstar from putting in a 3000 mAh battery in this phone. Even at this point, you will agree with me that there’s much sense in buying this phone.

There is a 2GB of RAM and this is enough for most apps that you will need. There is 16GB of internal storage and microSD Card slot that can accommodate up to 64GB or memory.

There’s 700MHz of GPU as well.

The phone has dual SIM (One Standard and one Micro SIze) dual standby and with 4G support.

Camera and OS

The back camera is 13MP while the front Camera is 8MP and believe you me, this is probably one of the very best deals that you can get at this price.

The front camera is also enhanced for low light capturing.

It ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop and I will suggest you switch to Action Launcher 3 or Smart Launcher.

Adds On

There is this fun feature that I love about the device. The wake gesture means that you can define the gesture that you will draw on the screen to wake your device and that is really cool by me.

On-Point Rating

For the price, this is probably as good as it gets and this device will be getting a 9.8 OPR from me.

This phone is definitely for you if you love music or take stunning photos.
