Fantastical Comes to Windows Computers

Popular calendar apps tend to disappear after a while. There are times when the company is acquired, and there are times when it pivots. It’s not the case with Fantastical, a popular calendar app for macOS, iOS, and other Apple devices. Update after update, Fantastical has improved since it was launched as a Mac app in 2011.

Now Fantastical users can also use it on their Windows computers. The company behind Fantastical, called Flexibits, released it for Windows on October 29, 2024. If you use Fantastical on a Mac already, you will feel right at home using it on Windows too – it has the same look and features.

Flexibits has been working on the Windows version for three years. As they added new things to the Mac and iPhone versions, they also added them to the Windows version. Now all versions will get updates at the same time.

Fantastical lets you view all your calendar events from services like Google, Outlook, and iCloud together. You can see work meetings alongside family birthdays. Flexibits thinks this is better than having separate calendars for each service.

Fantastical also understands natural language. For example, you can type “Lunch with Tim Cook on Tuesday at Cafe Macs” and it will create the event automatically. It is great for fast scheduling.

The app has other handy tools. You can create public links to share events with RSVPs. It can detect conference call links and let you join with one click. Fantastical keeps improving to help users manage their busy schedules.

Fantastical is free to use but a premium subscription unlocks more features. The price is $4.75 per month or $55 annually across all devices including Windows. Existing Fantastical users can now use the same calendar app easily on both Mac and Windows computers. New users trying Fantastical on Windows may discover how helpful it is for managing their schedules.
