Apple’s Foldable Devices Might Arrive in 2026

We’ve been hearing for a while that Apple is working on foldable devices like an iPhone and iPad/iMac hybrid that can bend in half. Now it seems we might see these devices launch next year!

Jeff Pu, an industry analyst, said in a recent report that Apple plans to release two foldable devices in 2026. This news was reported by the tech website 9to5Mac.

The first device will be a foldable iPad or iMac hybrid that can bend in the middle. This should come out in the second quarter of 2026, between April and June.

The second device will reportedly be a foldable iPhone with a clamshell design like the Samsung Z Flip phones. This iPhone might launch later in 2026, towards the end of the year.

It’s thought that Apple’s foldable iPad/iMac could give us the best of both worlds – a large tablet screen that can fold into a laptop. Meanwhile, a foldable iPhone would allow us to shrink the phone size for easy portability.

Of course, these plans could change since Apple is still working on the technology. But it’s exciting to think we might finally see these foldable devices from Apple in the next few years.
